Choice of Nationality

     CONDITIONS: 
    1.     Birth occurred outside of the Brazilian National territory  
    2.     In case the child is of either a Brazilian father or mother
    3.     Residing in Brazil.  
    4.     The option to become a Brazilian National can be made at any time.  
       The request for the Brazilian nationality should be done before a federal judge, who is entitled to grant such a request. If the request was given, an order will be sent to the competent Public Notary Office close to the petitioners’ domicile/residence*, where the necessary registration will be done in book " E ".
