Registration of Absence and of Conceited Death Absence is characterized by a persons abandonment of the usual home, having left for a remote and unknown place, leaving his/her property to the abandonment, without leaving a power of attorney or legal representative, nor giving news of his/her whereabouts, and who cannot be found at the place which usually his/her home. Declared “judicially absentâ€, the person becomes to be considered unfit to fulfill its citizens duties and a curator is named. The registration of absence will be made in the Book "E" by means of a legal document provided by the competent judge. After registration of the person’s absence, the content of such will be communicated to the birth and marriage registration office(s) for the necessary annotations and changes. |
